Kendall Jenner is a proud tequila lover. But that’s not the only way she unwinds. The model, media personality, and 818 Tequila founder just announced she’s joining London-based calming beverage brand Trip as a global ambassador and equity shareholder. She’ll also serve as the face of its newest marketing campaign.

Trip, which makes sparkling magnesium drinks that use ingredients like ashwagandha, L-theanine, and lion’s mane to provide hangover-free relaxation, is currently on track to reach $200 million in revenue this year, up from $100 million in 2025.

Last November, the company closed a $40 million funding round led by Coefficient Capital with participation from individual investors such as Joe Jonas of the Jonas Brothers, The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley, and supermodels Ashley Graham and Alessandra Ambrosio. The round valued Trip at more than $300 million

She and her husband, Daniel Khoury, founded

She and her husband, Daniel Khoury, founded the brand after Khoury got injured in 2018 and required knee surgery just seven weeks before their wedding. In an attempt to avoid delaying the ceremony, the couple started experimenting with natural ingredients that targeted inflammation, swelling, pain, and sleep. He had what Ferdi describes as an “incredible recovery,” walking down the aisle and even dancing on their wedding day. “Everyone was blown away,” she recalls.

That inspired Ferdi and Khoury to think about how they could use those same ingredients to improve other people’s lives. Three months later, they left their respective careers in law and finance to go all-in on Trip. “It was like discovering, I don’t know, coffee or something,” Ferdi says. “We were like, ‘Everyone’s going to feel so much better—we’ve got to do this.’”

They launched Trip as a direct-to-consumer calming drinks brand in 2019, despite the fact that “anyone will tell you shouldn’t launch beverage DTC,” Ferdi says. The co-founders went against that conventional wisdom because they wanted to forge a direct line to their customers—a goal that also led them to prioritize social media early on, building the brand’s following by reposting every picture and video customers shared of its cans online.
